The fire was most active on the southern portion of the fire. There was some open flame observed in the Horse Linto Creek area. Air attack coordinated with personnel on the ground to keep the fire in check.With the limited fire activity, hand crews were able to make significant progress on the direct and indirect containment lines.CIIMT-5 (Joseph ICT1) times out today (9/1).
