CALIFORNIA’S FALLEN RETURN HOME WEDNESDAY
 
Bodies of Two Fallen Prescott, Ariz., Firefighters to be Flown to Los Alamitos; 
California Fire Service to Salute Fallen
 
 This Wednesday, July 10, 2013, two fallen firefighters with California roots will be flown home from Arizona to the Golden State aboard a 
California National Guard C-130. The bodies of Kevin Woyjeck, 21, of L.A. County, and Christopher MacKenzie, 20, of Hemet, Calif., 
are scheduled to arrive at 1 p.m. pn Los Alamitos Army Airfield at the Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos.
 
A Memorial Ramp Ceremony will be held upon their arrival, delivering the fallen to their families. 
California firefighters and honor guards from throughout the state will pay their respects to those who paid the ultimate price.
 
The California Fire Foundation’s Last Alarm Service Team (Cal LAST) has been activated to coordinate the ramp ceremony, 
in conjunction with Cal EMA and the California National Guard.

TIME:                  Appox. 1 p.m. touchdown (please arrive no later than 12:30 p.m.)
LOCATION:        Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos Army Air Field
          1120O Lexington Dr., Los Alamitos, CA 90277 (Main Gate)
         (Please bring appropriate media ID)
 
Ceremony will be visuals only – no spoken presentations, podium or microphone. 
Cameras will be directed to designated area. Ceremony should last about an hour.
